Benzalkonium chloride, a quaternary ammonium compound with the general formula: R-N + (CH3) 2 -CH2 C6 H5 - Cl-, where R is an alkyl radical (mainly C12 + C14).
Catamine® AB is a cationic surfactant produced in two grades:
Catamine® AB- 50% aqueous solution of alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride. It is a viscous liquid of light yellow color with a slight specific smell of a detergent; it is readily soluble in water.
Catamine® AB 5 - 5% aqueous solution of alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride. It is a clear liquid from colorless to light yellow. (Ready-to-use disinfectant). Filling is carried out in canisters of 1-10 dm3, barrels of 50-200 dm3.
Catamine AB is intended for use:
for disinfection of surfaces in rooms, dishes, linen, patient care items, sanitary equipment, cleaning equipment during current, final and preventive disinfection in foci and medical institutions for infections of bacterial etiology (except for tuberculosis);
as a disinfectant at the enterprises of the dairy, meat and beer and non-alcoholic industries;
as a raw material in the production of disinfectants and detergents;
for antiseptic treatment of lumber;
in the processes of intensification of oil production;
as an emulsifier;
as a catalyst for certain polymerization processes.
Catamine AB is sold in 51 and 227 liter polyethylene barrels, in containers and tank containers. The guaranteed shelf life of Catamin AB is two years from the date of its manufacture.
Catamine® SP is a cationic surfactant, an alcoholic solution (methanol, isopropanol) of quaternary ammonium salts. It is produced in two grades: grade A (50%) and grade B (80%). Application: corrosion inhibitor, bactericide, component for the preparation of compositions of corrosion inhibitors and bactericides. Catamine SP works in liquid media containing carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, including those contaminated with sulfate-reducing bacteria. Can be used at low temperatures.
Catamine SP is sold in 227 liter polyethylene barrels, in containers and tank containers. The guaranteed shelf life of Catamin AB is one year from the date of its manufacture.
