It is used as:
antistatic agent and softener in the perfumery industry;
foaming agent and thickener in detergent formulations;
component in compositions of shampoos, cosmetics and household chemicals.
Carboxybetaine is supplied in 51 and 227 liter polyethylene barrels, in containers. The guaranteed shelf life of Carboxybetaine is one year from the date of its manufacture.
